Cricket is played between 2 teams of 11; the team that scores the most runs wins the game. Runs can be scored in a variety of ways- running from end to end of the pitch, hitting the ball hard enough to go to the boundary, and extras( such as wides, no-balls and byes). If you run across the pitch once, you get one run. If you run twice, you get two runs, and it keeps going on like that. A boundary is when you hit the ball so that it either rolls over/touches or flies over the boundary. For just touching/rolling it over, you get 4 runs. For the latter you get 6. For extras such as wides and no-balls you get 1 run, while for byes you can get 1,2,3 or even boundaries!
